I construct my photographs in the studio, where I use plant and animal life forms or the constituent parts to reveal beauty from repulsiveness and order from chaos. My photographs explore the struggle of life, and the inevitability of death and decay. Yet in this exploration, I seek the sublime transcendence of vibrant, vital worlds within worlds, whose beauty reminds us that life will always endure.
