Artist Statement

the intent of my work is to promote a state of naturalism, being natural, doing what is natural, a sensitivity to circumstances, an appreciation of existence rather than an understanding of it. it is a form of expression concerning human relations, cultural sensitivity and environmental preservation. an aggressive humor in the work is at times critical but still wild and elusive. my use of imagery and text is an attempt to arouse a shift in perception and bring forth this state of naturalism. in understanding the vastness and the minuteness, the interconnectedness and in knowing one enjoys and serves the individual good by respecting, enjoying and serving the common good.
